During his career, Brian has been responsible for the completion of over $1 billion of commercial and mixed-use projects, in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. He has been involved in real estate development, finance, and leasing since 1985. He has been a board member, a member of the Executive Committee and a past chairman of the Northern Virginia Chapter of NAIOP. He is currently a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and is a past chair and current member of the Advisory Board of George Mason University’s Center for Real Estate Entrepreneurship. Prior to forming Buchanan Partners, Brian developed commercial and mixed-use projects, predominantly in Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia. He earned his B.A. from Davidson College.
